Background

Ask Ama Limited understands that your privacy is important to you and that you care about how your information is used and shared online. We respect and value the privacy of everyone who visits Our Site and uses Our Products and we will only collect and use information in ways that are useful to you and in a manner consistent with your rights and Our obligations under the law.

This Policy applies to Our use of any and all data collected by us in relation to your use of Our Site and / or any of our products. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully and ensure that you understand it. Your acceptance of Our Privacy Policy is deemed to occur upon your first use of Our Site and / or our products.  If you do not accept and agree with this Privacy Policy, you must stop using Our Site or Our Products immediately.

means he services provided by the Company to the Customer under the Agreement via www.ASKAMA.ai (the website), which consists of a business solution whereby the Customer, as a business user, may create an Account in the website, and upload the Customer data. The uploading of the Customer Data and the relevant execution of integration by the Company, allows the potential customers of the Customer (End users) to click on a link, a widget, or scan a QR code and ask questions and receive answers, using natural language, generate leads, actionable intelligence, such as what the target market of the Company is interested in through keywords and demographic information. with its designated clients, as End Users.  In other words, it includes the described interactive feature and the described informational agent services.

means all the relevant Cyprus, and European laws applicable to the use of the Site.

means Ask AmA Limited, a limited company registered in Cyprus under the number HE387850, and whose registered address and trading address is situated at Foivis 11, Flat/Office 101, 3116, Limassol.

2.1 Our Site, www.askama.ai, is owned and operated by Ask Ama Limited as explained above..

2.2  The use of the Site is  regulated by the relevant and current Cyprus and European legislation prevailing at this time.

3. Scope – What Does This Policy Cover?

This Privacy Policy applies only to your use of Our Site and Our Products. It does not extend to any websites that are linked from Our Site (whether we provide those links or whether they are shared by other users). We have no control over how your data is collected, stored or used by other websites and we advise you to check the privacy policies of any such websites before providing any data to them..

Some data will be collected automatically by Our Site and Our Products. For further details, please see section on Our use of Cookies, and Our Cookie Policy. Other data will only be collected if you voluntarily submit it, for example, when signing up for an Account, registering a Product for use or joining our mailing list. Depending upon your use of Our Site, We may collect some or all of the following data:

4.2 Contact information such as email address (to activate your account) and telephone number (to clarify certain information, or to contact you, when you have given your consent to do so);

4.4 The name of the Company, so the Customer knows who their prospective customer is;

4.8 A list of URLs starting with a referring site, your activity on Our Site, and the site you exit to (automatically collected)


5. How we use your personal information and basis for such use

5.1 Purposes for which we will use your personal data

We will use your personal data when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we will use your personal data in the following circumstances:

  • Where we need to perform the contract we are about to enter into or have entered into with you.
  • Where it is necessary for our legitimate interests (or those of a third party) and your interests and fundamental rights do not override those interests.

We shall not carry out any automated decision-making activities, including profiling, using your personal information.

Our website uses Google Analytics, a web-based analytics tool that tracks and reports on the manner in which the website is used to help us to improve it. 6. How and Where Do We Store Your Data?

6.1 We only keep your data for as long as We need to in order to use it as described above in section 5, and/or for as long as We have your permission to keep it.

6.2 Your data will only be stored within the European Economic Area (“the EEA”) (The EEA consists of all EU member states, plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein).

6.3 Data security is of great importance to Us, and to protect your data We have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure data collected through Our Site and / or Our Products.

6.4 Steps We take to secure and protect your data include are mention in the clause 4 of the Data Processing Agreement, attached to the Terms of Use of the website, as Schedule 1.

6.5 In order to provide our services we may need to transfer your personal information to locations outside Cyprus.  This may entail a transfer of your information from a location within the European Economic Area (the “EEA”) to outside the EEA, or from outside the EEA to a location within the EEA.  For any transfer of data outside the EEA, we will implement appropriate measures to ensure that your personal information remains protected and secure in accordance with applicable data protection laws and the EU General Data Protection Regulation.

6.6 Notwithstanding the security measures that We take, it is important to remember that the transmission of data via the internet may not be completely secure and that you are advised to take suitable precautions when transmitting to Us data via the internet.


7. Do We Share Your Data?

7.1 We may share your data with other companies in Our group. This includes any subsidiaries that we may create in the future.

7.2 We may share personal information the following categories of third parties as necessary:

  • Service providers who provide IT, system administration services and customer screening services.
  • Third parties to whom we outsource certain support services such as, without limitation, document processing and translation services, photocopying and document review, confidential waste disposal, IT systems and/or software and/or storage providers, IT Support service providers, document and information storage providers.
  • Professional advisers including lawyers, bankers, auditors, insurers and other professionals who provide consultancy, banking, legal, insurance, corporate, administration and accounting services.
  • Government or governmental agencies, regulatory authorities, courts and law enforcement agencies, registries.  We may be required to disclose your information to comply with legal or regulatory requirements. We will use reasonable endeavours to notify you before we do this, unless we are legally restricted.
  • Appropriate parties in the event of emergencies.
  • Advertising networks: to support and display ads on our website, apps and other social media tools.
  • Third party service providers to assist us with client insight analytics, such as Google Analytics.
  • Third party postal or courier providers who assist us in delivering our postal marketing campaigns to you, or delivering documents related to a matter.

All of our partners, employees, consultants, workers and data processors (i.e. those who process your personal information on our behalf,), who have access to, and are associated with the processing of personal information, are obliged to respect the confidentiality of such personal information, keep it secure and protect it.


9. What Happens If Our Business Changes Hands?

9.1   We may, from time to time, expand or reduce Our business and this may involve the sale and/or the transfer of control of all or part of Our business. Data provided by users will, where it is relevant to any part of Our business so transferred, be transferred along with that part and the new owner or newly controlling party will, under the terms of this Privacy Policy, be permitted to use the data for the purposes for which it was originally collected by Us.

  • Erasure: you are entitled to ask us to delete or remove personal data in certain circumstances. There are also certain exceptions where we may refuse a request for erasure, for example, where the personal data is required for compliance with law or in connection with claims;

13.1  Our Site may place and access certain third party Cookies on your computer or device. Third party Cookies are not placed directly by Us and are used only for statistical and functional purposes. We use Cookies to facilitate and improve your experience of Our Site and to provide and improve Our products and services.
